well until the f117 was shot down over serbia by an old s125 system which was allready used at the cuba crisis as far as i know..

true the stealth fighter get a point blank shot on their targets. though it come down too the pak-fa and the f-22 for wins. currently the t-50 look ahead of the f-22 will all fronts but will have too see if their stealth hunting radar as good as they say.
@kibabiba Actually the s-400 radar cant be jammed by a regular radar jammer, The u.s. is the only one that has AESA jammer, And it is so advanced and puts all power on one spot to jam any radar.

Not only one radar, S-300/400 is complex system: it has many radars in different places and many missile launchers. Jammers are useful only against weak short-wave radars (fighter-jets, little SAMs like Tunguska etc). S-300/400/Patriot are too brutal for pussy fighter jet.

@kibabiba I l-band cant see stealth till it is very close, The l-band has to know exatley where the jet is in the sky to find it.
Its like playing hide and seek in the dark in a city but in the dark and your buddy is on the ground in a city and your in a chopper with a flash light and trying to find your friend. So the l-band cant see stealth till it is close. The AESA radar is a high power jammer. The l-band is made so that noise jammers dont work.
@N1cholas240 Ground radars (situated in different places) are too powerfull to fear things like stealth and track all kinds of flying targets. Jammers and stealth are useless against veriable wave length of radars because jammers block only one type of wave, stealth is seen by l-band like simple target
@kibabiba The JSOW-ER has stealth so by the time the s-400 sees it its to late. The f-22/35 do not need to see the ground target at 575km because the JSOW-ER is GPS guided. The AESA radar is used as a high power jammer witch can jam any radar even the s-400 l-band.
@N1cholas240 S-400 is covered by Tor, Tunguska, Pantsir-s1 and other short-range stuff, so JSOW-ER has no chance to hit the target. The same time long-range SAM protect short-range ones from a distance. F-22/35 radars are not powerful enough to detect ground targets from 575km. And S-400 is unjummable, becouse of veriable wave length. Stealth is useless agains L-band.

I doubt the Yanks got their hands on a complete S-300 system but they aquired some components from the traitorous Belarussia (1994 before Lukashenko came to power) and/or from Croatia. But there is something on it they fear like hell and I want to know what it is
No it’s all nearly up-to-date. Old (but still useful) are S-125, S-200, Kub and Osa. Hence they are retired from service in Russia (except Osa-AK/AKM).

AHAHAHH no such thing as ANTI ANTI JAM JAM. The AESA will anylise the radar find out its signal then make a beam then but a very strong burst of microwave energey down the beam on to the radar. Normal jammers send energey in all directions and they dipuress. The AESA is made so no energey dispuress and is only focused on the radar so even the advanced anti jam radars are jammed.
Even if s-400 had anti anti jam jam would still get jammed by the AESA.
